SassyMoneyThis might surprise you but this is the second month in a row when we have a female winner! Congratulations and well done this month goes to SassyMoney, she is MoreNiche’s AOTM February 2009.

She got our attention by being creative and thinking outside the box in her Proactol’s promotions as well showing great performance month after month after month!

It’s funny how much one person can achieve in life when the right motivation is there. We strongly suggest you to read SassyMoney’s story as it will well inspire you!

Great job and enjoy your AOTM prizes!

Congratulations, how do you feel about winning AOTM?

It came as a great surprise and honor because I have been a MoreNiche Affiliate for 6 months only. MoreNiche has been my first affiliate program so I have a soft spot for you guys :- )

Tell us a little about yourself, where are you from, what’s your background?

I’m 28 year old from Montreal in Canada. I was working for a big telecommunication company as an event planning manager before getting laid off following a massive company restructuring this summer. I was thinking of trying affiliate marketing before but never had the energy to begin my web business while working full-time. This gave me the necessary push to go ahead.

Since then, I am a full-time affiliate marketer. I am nowhere making money as before with my old job but I’m slowly getting there. But surely being my own boss, making my own schedule, working from home and not having to commute has its perks.

What were the key factors to get you here today?

I came from far, knowing nothing about how to make a webpage and SEO 6 months ago.

I think the key factor that got me where I am today is that I always try to find different angle on how to promote MN products. I like to go off the beaten track and to propose original marketing material. I try to avoid doing the same thing as my competition.

How long did it take you to make your 1st sale?

My first sale was with MoreNiche and it was a Proactol package 3 weeks after building my first website. I was so excited I called everybody letting them know the good news. I even wrote that I made my first sale on my Facebook status! :- ) Everybody was very happy for me and supportive.

Why did you start promoting Proactol?

My MoreNiche referrer suggested that I joined your program because of the guides, the step-by-step and the help you offer. MoreNiche is a good affiliate program to begin with because of the support to affiliates.

What support have you received from MN ?

At the beginning, I read all the guides to know more about how to build a website and how to promote it. I also received help from the forum for specific questions.

Now, I check the Merchant announcement section of the forum and I always make sure to use the promotional tools MoreNiche creates.

Is there anything you could suggest us to improve?

Commission increasing with the number of sales we make a month or contest will motivate us to bring in more sales.

Come on, share some of your methods with others, what works for you?

As I said earlier, I try to do things differently. I’m always on the lookout for new ideas or a different angle from my competition.

I try to build content rich websites and then work on my backlinks. I may try PPC in the future but I’m not there yet.

In your opinion, what makes a great affiliate program?

Great support, good products to promote, landing pages that converts well, a lot of promotional material and honesty are what makes a good affiliation program.

What are the most important factors to succeed in affiliate marketing?

Never give up! Rome wasn’t built in a day and so is every business, online or not.

Do you have any tips for new affiliates?

Read everything you can about affiliate marketing and SEO. Don’t pay for anything except domain and hosting…all the info you need to be successful can be found for free on the Internet.

Ok, what are your further plans with affiliate business and MoreNiche?

I plan on continuing to grow my business by creating new websites and adding content on my existing ones. Of course, I’m planning on getting better at SEO as well.
