Hey glad to hear that there is more recources for MYR. I haev been promoting MYR for a couple months now, but still no sales. Hopefully these new resources should help me out and spice up my website.

Well, so far I have a website (had for about 2 months now) and a new blog I just started (a week ago) and no sales =(

I’ve had a look at your sites and I have a suggestion for you.

Use an opt-in form on your sites. You can either have an opt in form on your home page or use a pop up. Personally I would have it on your homepage, “above the fold”, meaning at the top of the page so a visitor can see it without scrolling down.

I would offer a free ebook or ebooks and also something like an email course for subscribers. Your ebooks and ecourse should be based on the thing you are trying to sell, so in this case as it’s MYR, the subject should be “How to make money with affiliate marketing”. OK so far?

What happens then is visitors will subscribe to get the free ebooks and info. You then have a set of messages lined up in your autoresponder (Aweber for instance). The messages should be full of great content and have your MYR affiliate link sprinkled throughout them.

The good news is, I am working on some opt in pages, opt in boxes and autoresponder messages for MYR affiliates right now. I will also be adding some ebooks for you to give away. Instructions will be included on how to add your own affiliate links to the ebooks also! Then you are more likely to make money from those too.

I have personally used this technique and have built a list of over 5000 subscribers. The problem is with just having links on your site is that you can’t build trust that way. If you get people to sign up using a free gift and continue sending your subscribers quality info, they will begin to trust you and are more likely to listen to your recommendations ie; MYR.

They haven’t even got to come back to your site. All your communication will be by email. Don’t forget that when you have an opt in form you can also direct opt ins to another page, once they’ve signed up. That can be a sales page or a confirmation page with ads on it.

Seriously, do not under estimate this technique. It’s VERY powerful. There are so many ways to use opt ins and I’ll cover some more in the guide I produce with the templates.

I’ll let you know when the new resources are ready. Hope this has given you some ideas to think about James.

Thank you for your sugestions. I have read up a little on email marketing and I was thinking about getting an opt-in box on my website, but when I tried to search the web for a free design or web form subscription box but I couldn't find much and couldn't get any to work.

Some hosting providers offers autoresponder.

Basically, you set up email
sayy

james@domain.com

and as they send you email - you can set up a message like:

Thanks, we got your message.

or

Sorry, i'm on holiday till 39823982394.

Well, what if I used my own autoresponder that's comes with my ixwebhosting? and just used a web form to capture emails? Idk how to set it up but I have been trying...

I don't think I want to invest into aweber yet, but maybe if I can't figure it out myself
