Ok guys,

I have now gone through all the entries for the Aloeride competition: New Aloeride Competition - Get 40% for Life plus a Cash Bonus!

There were some very good entries and I found it tough to choose the winners, I would like to congratulate everyone who entered and encourage to keep working on it (whether you won or not) because you all have the makings of fantastic sites.

I'm almost there...one of my inner pages aloe vera skin care | Aloe Vera was ranked No.2 for "aloe vera comparison", only 1 more spot to go for another $50 though it's not easy to take wikipedia down

Anyway, now come to the hardest part, traffic! Trying to optimize for another keywords, and testing some traffic sources currently...let's see...

Wow! Thank you Paul. Also thanks for your words of wisdom as I brought a dying site due for deletion back to life. Working til 3am the other night to get it uploaded in time has paid off. Now for the tweaking!

As I have been awarded the prize for Most Unique Angle of Promotion I'd like to share how this Angle has come about

Establishing credibility I've found is very important with my other sites and has worked well for sales. Over the years Ken Evoy has provided me information on how to do this. Of course there are many other ways but Ken's teachings are proven and they suit me.

Briefly:-
- write like I'm talking personally to my visitor
- realize most visitors come to my site initially for information, not to buy
- put myself in their shoes and provide the information they want - builds credibility. Lead on to About Me, or similar page. (my-aloe-vera-use is mine) I've always tried to focus on 'you' but it is hard to write about genuine personal experiences without using, I, me and myself Builds more credibility.

I briefly mention my product on my-aloe-vera-use page, leading on to the product page with answers to visitors 'what's in it for me?' ie. the benefits. Here you can use whatever tools (moreniche) you need to encourage the visitor to do what you want, eg click on your affiliate link and if you have done a good job there is a 50% chance they will click and hopefully buy.

Ken suggests not to try and 'sell' from the homepage as the visitor hasn't yet been 'warmed up' enough to buy. His system works when done well with many of his affiliates conversions at 7 - 10% compared to the usual 2-3%. However, whatever brings results then stay with it for sure.

Turning features into benefits is important and not always easy!

Excellent site Needed and well deserving of the top award. I would spend much time there if I was your visitor looking for information.
