seoThis is a fool proof way of building a simple one page site, getting indexed and included in the SEPR’s for niche search terms, getting long-tail keyword traffic that will convert into sales.

I’m going to do this step by step if you complete everyone as described you will be on to a winner :)

The AimTo pick a keyword relevant to the product your marketing, be included in the SEPR’s for that keyword; get highly relevant traffic quickly and for free! And make sales! (more…)

seo roundup smallHey Guys,

Welcome to (the later than usual) SEO Roundup.

sitemapsJust a quick post to give you some important news.

The Google Webmaster blog today announced a really cool new sitemap generator software, it’s much easier to use than the Python script they previously supplied.

If you don’t have dedicated servers it may not be the most useful thing for you and the XML Sitemap generator script is still a solid solution if you only have FTP access but take a look into testing this official Google Software where you can.

Hey Guys,

I’m sure many of you have already heard but Google gave the official word on the launch of its browser early this week. Google Chrome as it will be called apparently represents around 3 years of work and I have to be honest and say I’m looking forwards to seeing what it can do.

Hello Everyone,

A quick one today just to let you all know that Google recently announced they will be making their Google Suggest project live on Google.com in the next week.

What does this mean for all of us? I would say mixed blessings. (more…)

A few things going on this week, highlights are below.

- The Google Trifecta Recording has been placed on the official webmaster blog. Its a long but very interesting video tutorial/explanation of the Google Webmaster Tools, Analytics and Website Optimiser programs. If you have an hour to spare I strongly recommend you watch.

- Wordpress 2.6 has some major bugs, don’t upgrade until you have heard they are fixed.

- Matt Cutts posted an interesting post about sites that get hit with the malware warning. Worth a read incase it ever happens to you.

Just a quick update guys,

It is possible that some of you haven’t heard that Google recently updated their external keyword research tool (the one inside adwords) to include actual numerical estimates instead of the old value based bar graphs.

It’s a pretty big change and in my eyes a welcome one but remember these figures are likely not adjusted for people click back, double searching and all the other human errors that occur during search.

Have a good weekend affiliates!

link buildingIn the third part of our SEO essentials series we are going to take a look at link building.

Finding good links is one of the most important parts of SEO at the moment, generally getting more links to your site over time will improve your rankings but abuse the system and you will be booted out, or at least down, the SERPs.

Google, Adobe and Matt Cutts’ all placed announcements today regarding Google upgrading their spider to be able to index flash files more successfully.

As many of you know flash has always been a problem in SEO as Google could not see any of the content and links you worked so hard to generate. I’m happy to say this problem is coming to and end. (more…)
