Congratulations on winning the MoreNiche™ AOTM. How does it feel?

Feels great, thank you! I’m honored that you guys feel I deserve this accolade after so short a time!

Tell us a little bit about yourself...

I’m 36 years old, and I live in England, on the South West borders of London. I’ve always been interested in computers ever since I was I kid ( My first computer was a Sinclair ZX81 when I was 8, for the geek's among you.

I took that interest into my working life and have followed a pretty tetchy career path up until about a year ago. Since then I’ve been full-time internet marketing with my business partner, and it’s gone from strength to strength!

How long you have been in internet marketing and what experience got you here?

About 2 ½ years ago whilst I was still working full time, my business partner and I had an idea for a website, so we decided to see if we could give it a go & make it work.

I put together one site, then another, then a third, and before long we had a network of 30 content sites!

We started out concentrating on SEO, then we tried PPC on the content sites, then we had a crack at creating our own digital product and trying to attract affiliates, then figured it was easier to let someone else do the hard work and got into affiliate marketing, then stumbled upon MoreNiche.

Somewhere along that route we got to the point where we could afford to give up the full time jobs, and rely on the internet marketing for our incomes, which is kind of where we are now.

What were the key factors to get there?

The spark of an idea, combined with a hell of a lot of hard work and stubborn dedication!

How long did it take you to make first sale and what product it was?

Our first sales were Amazon products and AdSense clicks through our content site network about 2 ½ years ago.

Selling products through MoreNiche was a lot easier mainly because of the experience we’ve built up along the way; I know how to set up PPC campaigns, write ad copy, market affiliate products, track campaign performance, etc.

How much have you earned in a day promoting MoreNiche™ Products?

So far our best day with MoreNiche™ was $883.38, but our best day ever with all the other products that we promote was in the mid $x,xxx range.

What are your main marketing methods – what works for you?

We do all sorts; SEO, PPC, viral marketing, building mailing lists & email marketing, etc. All these methods work as long as you do them right.

What’s your favorite internet marketer?

I’m not a great one for following internet ‘gurus’. I guess I have an inbuilt mistrust of those that crave the limelight!

I tend to get most of my inspiration from other successful webmasters and internet marketers through the forums I hang out at; like Digital Point, SEO chat and of course the MoreNiche™ Affiliate forum.

What do you like about MoreNiche™?

I like their affiliate focus. They go out of their way to provide their affiliates will all the tools, advice and support they’ll need to succeed!

I work with a number of affiliate companies, and MoreNiche™ is by far the friendliest & most helpful that I’ve found.

Do you think there's still room for those who are starting out with internet marketing?

Definitely, the internet marketplace is huge and still expanding exponentially!

Your tips for other affiliates who just starting out?!

I guess my biggest tip is “believe it’s possible”. I think people when they’re starting out tend to get into the mind set of not trusting the claims of others, or not believing that they are capable of duplicating those achievements.

My advice is that there aren’t really any barriers to success in this business. You don’t have to invent the next eBay or Google to be successful, you don’t even need a single original idea in your head.

Just find something that you’re interested in, that others seem to be able to make money doing, and implement all the techniques that you discover by lurking at forums, and you’ll be able to match or better their success!

It really isn’t rocket science, and you don’t need a PHD to be a big success! Just go for it and stick with it!

Thanks for your time Dan.
